Duquesne secured a 10–8 victory over La Salle on Senior Day at Rooney Field in a game that featured momentum swings throughout. La Salle came out sharp, building a 5–2 lead midway through the second quarter behind balanced scoring and efficient offense. However, Duquesne responded with a crucial late first-half surge, scoring four straight goals to take a 6–5 lead into halftime and shift the energy heading into the break. 

Out of the half, Duquesne maintained control by extending the lead in the third quarter and leaning on consistent offensive production across the lineup. Gracin Emerson led the way as a facilitator, while multiple Dukes found the back of the net to keep pressure on La Salle. The Explorers continued to push, cutting the deficit to one in the fourth quarter, but Duquesne answered late to seal the win and close out Senior Day with a hard-fought result.
